Grilled Plantain Sushi Bowl

Ingredients:

- 2 plantains, peeled and sliced into 1/4 inch thick rounds
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon allspice
- 1/4 cup cooked sushi rice
- 1 tablespoon poppy seeds

Instructions:

1. Preheat a grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.

2. Place the plantain slices on the grill and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, until lightly charred and softened.

3. In a small bowl, mix together the lemon juice and allspice.

4. Brush the lemon juice mixture onto the plantain slices.

5. Place the cooked plantain slices onto a plate and top with the cooked sushi rice.

6. Sprinkle the poppy seeds over the top and serve. Enjoy!
