Make Ham and Cheese Quesadillas
Ham and Cheese Quesadillas
Ingredients:
- 2 large flour tortillas
- 4 ounces of diced ham
- 4 ounces of shredded cheese
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
- 1/4 teaspoon of paprika
- 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
- 2 eggs, lightly beaten
- Juice of 1 lime
- 2 bay leaves
- 2 tablespoons of sour cream
Instructions:
1. Preheat a large skillet over medium heat.
2. In a medium bowl, combine the ham, cheese, salt, and paprika.
3. Place one of the tortillas in the skillet and spread the ham and cheese mixture over it.
4. Place the second tortilla on top and press down lightly.
5. Cook for about 3 minutes, or until the bottom is lightly browned.
6. Flip the quesadilla and cook for another 3 minutes, or until the other side is lightly browned.
7. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
8. In a separate skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat.
9. Add the eggs and scramble until cooked through.
10. Add the lime juice, bay leaves, and sour cream and stir until combined.
11. Place the cooked quesadilla in the skillet and top with the egg mixture.
12. Cook for another 2 minutes, or until the egg mixture is heated through.
13. Serve hot. Enjoy!
