Make Hamburguesa de Ceviche

Recipe: Hamburguesa de Ceviche

Ingredients:
- 1 lb fresh white fish fillets, such as tilapia or cod
- 1 cup freshly squeezed lime juice
- 1/2 red onion, finely chopped
- 1 tomato, diced
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
- 1 jalapeño, seeded and minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 hamburger buns
- Lettuce leaves
- Sliced avocado

Instructions:
1. Cut the fish fillets into small pieces and place them in a bowl.
2. Pour the lime juice over the fish, making sure it is completely covered. Let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
3. Once the fish is "cooked" in the lime juice (it will turn opaque), drain off the excess liquid.
4. Add the chopped red onion, diced tomato, cilantro, jalapeño, salt, and pepper to the fish. Mix well to combine.
5. Heat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
6. Form the ceviche mixture into patties and place them on the grill. Cook for about 3-4 minutes per side, until lightly charred and cooked through.
7. Toast the hamburger buns on the grill for a minute or two.
8. To assemble the hamburguesa de ceviche, place a lettuce leaf on the bottom half of each bun. Top with a ceviche patty, sliced avocado, and the top half of the bun.
9. Serve immediately and enjoy the fresh and flavorful hamburguesa de ceviche!
