Hearty Bean and Beef Chili

Ingredients:

-1 lb. ground beef
-1 large onion, chopped
-2 cloves garlic, minced
-1 red bell pepper, chopped
-1 green bell pepper, chopped
-1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and chopped
-2 tablespoons chili powder
-1 teaspoon cumin
-1 teaspoon oregano
-1 teaspoon paprika
-1 teaspoon salt
-1/2 teaspoon black pepper
-1 (14.5 oz) can diced tomatoes
-1 (15 oz) can tomato sauce
-1 (15 oz) can black beans, drained and rinsed
-1 (15 oz) can kidney beans, drained and rinsed

Instructions:

1. In a large pot over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef until no longer pink. Drain off any excess fat.

2. Add the onion, garlic, bell peppers, and jalapeno pepper to the pot and cook until the vegetables are softened, about 5 minutes.

3. Add the chili powder, cumin, oregano, paprika, salt, and black pepper to the pot and stir to combine.

4. Add the diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, black beans, and kidney beans to the pot and stir to combine.

5. Bring the chili to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.

6. Serve the chili hot with your favorite toppings, such as shredded cheese, sour cream, and diced avocado. Enjoy!
