Ingredients:
- 8 ounces fettuccine
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 leeks, white and light green parts only, sliced
- 1/2 cup diced ham
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the fettuccine and cook according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, heat the butter and olive oil over medium heat. Add the garlic and leeks and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
3. Add the ham and cook for another 2 minutes.
4. Pour in the cream and bring to a simmer. Simmer for 5 minutes.
5. Add the cooked fettuccine to the skillet and toss to coat.
6. Add the Parmesan cheese and season with salt and pepper to taste.
7. Serve immediately. Enjoy!
