Ingredients:
- 1 large onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 large tomatoes, diced
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
- 2 tablespoons oil
- Salt to taste
Instructions:
1. Heat the oil in a large pan over medium heat.
2. Add the diced onion and garlic and cook until the onion is softened and lightly browned.
3. Add the diced tomatoes and all the spices and cook for another 5 minutes.
4. Add 1/2 cup of water and bring to a boil.
5. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes until the tomatoes are cooked and the sauce has thickened.
6. Add salt to taste and serve hot.
