-1 cup all-purpose flour
-1/2 cup cocoa powder
-1 teaspoon baking soda

-1 cup granulated sugar
-1/2 cup vegetable oil
-2 large eggs
-1 cup buttermilk

Instructions:

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease and flour a 9-inch round cake pan.

2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.

3. In a large bowl, beat together the sugar, oil, and eggs until light and fluffy.

4. Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.

5. Add the buttermilk and mix until fully incorporated.

6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

7. Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
