Italian Chicken Pesto Burger
Ingredients:
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tablespoons of pesto
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 2 hamburger buns
- 2 slices of mozzarella cheese
- 2 slices of tomato
- 2 leaves of lettuce
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
2. Place the chicken breasts in a baking dish and season with salt and pepper.
3. Drizzle the olive oil over the chicken and spread the pesto over the top.
4. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.
5. Toast the hamburger buns in a toaster or in a skillet over medium heat.
6. Assemble the burgers by placing a slice of cheese on each bun, followed by a chicken breast, a slice of tomato, and a lettuce leaf.
7. Serve and enjoy!
