Make Italian Chicken Potato Toast
Italian Chicken Potato Toast
Ingredients:
- 2 large potatoes
- 2 tablespoons Italian herbs
- 1/4 cup cream
- 1/2 cup shredded cheese
- 2 slices of Turkish bread
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 cup shredded chicken
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
2. Peel and dice potatoes into small cubes. Place in a medium-sized pot and cover with water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 10-15 minutes, or until potatoes are tender.
3. Drain potatoes and place in a large bowl. Add Italian herbs, cream, and shredded cheese. Mix together until all ingredients are evenly distributed.
4. Spread butter on one side of each slice of Turkish bread. Place bread butter-side down on a baking sheet.
5. Divide potato mixture into two equal parts and spread on top of the bread slices. Top each slice with shredded chicken.
6. Bake in preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bread is golden brown.
7. Serve warm and enjoy!
