Kip met Rijst en Brood
Ingredients:
-1 cup uncooked rijst
-2 cups chicken broth
-1 tablespoon olive oil
-1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into cubes
-1 teaspoon garlic powder
-1 teaspoon onion powder
-1 teaspoon paprika
-Salt and pepper to taste
-2 tablespoons butter
-2 slices of bread, toasted
Instructions:
1. In a medium saucepan, bring the chicken broth to a boil. Add the rijst and reduce the heat to low. Simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until the rijst is cooked.
2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken cubes and season with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook for 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through.
3. Add the cooked rijst to the skillet and stir to combine. Cook for an additional 5 minutes.
4. Remove the skillet from the heat and stir in the butter.
5. Serve the kip met rijst with the toasted bread. Enjoy!
