Make Leek and Bacon Chicken Breast
Leek and Bacon Chicken Breast
Ingredients:
- 2 chicken breasts
- 2 leeks, sliced
- 4 slices of bacon, chopped
- 1 carrot, diced
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
3. Add the leeks and bacon and cook until the bacon is crispy.
4. Remove the bacon and leeks from the skillet and set aside.
5. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper and add to the skillet.
6. Cook the chicken breasts for 5 minutes on each side, or until cooked through.
7. Remove the chicken breasts from the skillet and place in a baking dish.
8. Top the chicken breasts with the bacon and leeks.
9. Add the diced carrot to the baking dish and season with salt and pepper.
10. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.
11. Serve and enjoy!
