Make Lentil and Rice Stuffed Bell Peppers

Recipe Name: Lentil and Rice Stuffed Bell Peppers

Ingredients:
- 1 cup rice
- 1 cup lentils
- 1 onion, diced
- 1 bell pepper, halved and deseeded
- Salt to taste
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 4 slices of bread, crumbled
- Backshots (optional for garnish)

Instructions:
1. Cook the rice according to package instructions and set aside.
2. In a separate pot, cook the lentils in water until tender, then drain and set aside.
3. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
4. In a pan, sauté the diced onion and minced garlic until fragrant.
5. In a large bowl, combine the cooked rice, lentils, sautéed onion and garlic, crumbled bread, and salt. Mix well.
6. Stuff each halved bell pepper with the rice and lentil mixture.
7. Place the stuffed bell peppers in a baking dish and cover with foil.
8. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the peppers are tender.
9. Remove from the oven and garnish with backshots if desired.
