Macaroni and Cheese
Ingredients:
-1 lb. of macaroni
-3 tablespoons of butter
-3 tablespoons of all-purpose flour
-3 cups of milk
-1 teaspoon of salt
-1/2 teaspoon of pepper
-2 cups of shredded cheese (such as cheddar or mozzarella)
-1/2 cup of diced tomatoes
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
2. Cook macaroni according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
3. In a large saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add flour and whisk until combined.
4. Slowly add milk, whisking constantly until mixture is smooth.
5. Add salt and pepper and continue to cook until mixture thickens, about 5 minutes.
6. Remove from heat and stir in cheese until melted.
7. Add macaroni and diced tomatoes to cheese sauce and stir until combined.
8. Pour macaroni and cheese into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
9. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until cheese is bubbly and lightly browned.
10. Serve and enjoy!
