Macaroni and Cheese

Ingredients:

-1 pound of elbow macaroni
-4 cups of water
-4 tablespoons of butter
-1/4 cup of all-purpose flour
-2 cups of milk
-2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese
-1/2 teaspoon of salt
-1/4 teaspoon of ground black pepper

Instructions:

1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the macaroni and cook according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

2. In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the flour and whisk until the mixture is smooth and bubbly.

3. Slowly add the milk, whisking constantly until the mixture is smooth.

4. Add the cheese, salt, and pepper, and stir until the cheese is melted and the sauce is thick and creamy.

5. Add the cooked macaroni to the cheese sauce and stir until combined.

6. Serve the macaroni and cheese warm. Enjoy!
