Espresso-Mascarpone Panettone French Toast
Ingredients:
-1 artisan panettone
-3 eggs
-1/4 cup of espresso
-1/4 cup of mascarpone
-1/4 cup of milk
-1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
-1/4 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
-1 tablespoon of butter
Instructions:
1. Preheat a skillet over medium heat.
2. Cut the panettone into thick slices.
3. In a shallow bowl, whisk together the eggs, espresso, mascarpone, milk, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon.
4. Dip each slice of panettone into the egg mixture and let it soak for a few minutes.
5. Melt the butter in the preheated skillet.
6. Place the panettone slices in the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.
7. Serve the French toast with your favorite toppings and enjoy!
