Mushroom and Pea Cream Sauce
Ingredients:
-1 cup mushrooms, sliced
-1 cup peas, frozen
-1/2 cup heavy cream
-1/4 cup butter
-1/4 cup all-purpose flour
-2 cloves garlic, minced
-1/2 teaspoon salt
-1/4 teaspoon black pepper
-1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
Instructions:
1. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
2. Add the mushrooms and garlic and cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the mushrooms are softened.
3. Add the peas and cook for an additional minute.
4. Sprinkle the flour over the vegetables and stir to combine.
5. Slowly pour in the cream and stir until the sauce is thick and creamy.
6. Add the salt, pepper, and thyme and stir to combine.
7. Simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce is thick and creamy.
8. Serve over your favorite pasta or rice. Enjoy!
