Ingredients:
- 8 oz spaghetti
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1 lemon, juiced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Cook the spaghetti in a large pot of salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water before draining the spaghetti.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
3. Add the cooked spaghetti to the skillet along with 1/2 cup of the reserved pasta water. Toss to coat the spaghetti in the garlic-infused oil.
4. Add the chopped parsley and lemon juice to the skillet. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Toss everything together until well combined.
5. If the spaghetti seems dry, add more pasta water as needed to create a silky sauce.
6. Serve the Aglio e Olio Spaghetti hot, garnished with additional parsley and a drizzle of olive oil if desired.
