Ingredients:
- 4 large potatoes
- 1/2 lb ground beef
- 4 strips of bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1/2 cup peas
- 1/2 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup shredded cheese
- Salt to taste
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
2. Wash and scrub the potatoes, then pierce them with a fork a few times. Place them on a baking sheet and bake for about 45-60 minutes, or until they are tender.
3. In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Add the diced onion and minced garlic, and cook until the onion is soft.
4. Stir in the cooked and crumbled bacon, peas, and salt to taste. Cook for another 2-3 minutes.
5. Once the potatoes are cooked, remove them from the oven and let them cool slightly. Cut each potato in half lengthwise and scoop out some of the flesh to create a hollow space.
6. Fill each potato half with the beef and bacon mixture, then top with shredded cheese.
7. Place the stuffed potatoes back in the oven and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
