Ingredients:
- 1 lb chicken breast, thinly sliced
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooked rice, for serving

Instructions:
1. In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, and sugar. Set aside.
2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
3. Add minced garlic and sliced onion to the skillet. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until the onion is translucent.
4. Add the sliced chicken to the skillet. Cook until the chicken is no longer pink, about 5-6 minutes.
5. Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken and onion. Stir well to coat everything evenly.
6. Continue to cook for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the chicken and onion.
7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
8. Serve the chicken and onion stir-fry over cooked rice.
