Ingredients:
- 1 lb Italian sausage
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 1 onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 cup chicken broth

Instructions:
1. In a large skillet, heat the oil over medium heat.
2. Add the Italian sausage and cook until browned, breaking it up into smaller pieces with a wooden spoon.
3. Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet and cook until softened and fragrant.
4. Stir in the tomato sauce, chicken broth, and dried oregano. Let the mixture simmer for about 10 minutes.
5. Pour in the heavy cream and stir well to combine. Let the sauce simmer for an additional 5 minutes until it thickens slightly.
6. Meanwhile, cook your favorite pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
7. Drain the pasta and add it to the skillet with the creamy Italian sausage sauce. Toss everything together until the pasta is well coated.
8. Serve hot and garnish with grated Parmesan cheese, if desired.
