Recipe Name: Egg Fried Rice
Ingredients:
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup mixed vegetables (carrots, peas, bell peppers)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Green onions for garnish
Instructions:
1. Heat 1 tbsp of vegetable oil in a large pan over medium heat.
2. Crack the eggs into the pan and scramble them until cooked through. Remove the eggs from the pan and set aside.
3. In the same pan, add the remaining 1 tbsp of vegetable oil.
4. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
5. Add the mixed vegetables to the pan and cook until they are slightly tender.
6. Add the cooked rice to the pan and stir to combine with the vegetables.
7. Pour the soy sauce over the rice and vegetables, and mix well.
8. Push the rice and vegetables to one side of the pan and pour the scrambled eggs into the empty side.
9. Mix the eggs with the rice and vegetables until everything is evenly combined.
10. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
11. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
