- 200g pasta
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 tsp pepper
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp maida (all-purpose flour)
- 1 cup water
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions in a pot of boiling salted water. Drain and set aside.
2. In a separate pan, heat some oil and sauté the chopped onion until translucent.
3. Add the minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
4. Sprinkle the maida over the onion and garlic mixture, stirring constantly to create a roux.
5. Slowly pour in the water, stirring continuously to avoid lumps.
6. Season the sauce with salt and pepper, adjusting to taste.
7. Add the cooked pasta to the sauce, tossing to coat evenly.
