Recipe Name: Ghee Rice

Ingredients:
- 1 cup basmati rice
- 2 tablespoons ghee
- 1 small onion, thinly sliced
- 2 cloves
- 2 cardamom pods
- 1-inch cinnamon stick
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1 3/4 cups water
- Salt to taste
- Fresh cilantro leaves for garnish

Step by Step Guide:
1. Rinse the basmati rice under cold water until the water runs clear. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large pan, heat the ghee over medium heat. Add the cloves, cardamom pods, cinnamon stick, bay leaf, and cumin seeds. Saute for about a minute until fragrant.
3. Add the sliced onion and saute until it turns golden brown.
4. Add the rinsed basmati rice to the pan and stir well to coat the rice with the ghee and spices.
5. Pour in the water and add salt to taste. Bring to a boil.
6. Reduce the heat to low, cover the pan with a tight-fitting lid, and let the rice simmer for about 15-20 minutes, or until all the water is absorbed and the rice is cooked through.
7. Once the rice is cooked, fluff it with a fork and remove the whole spices.
8. Garnish with fresh cilantro leaves before serving.
