Ingredients:
- 3 eggs
- 50g ham, diced
- 1/4 cup diced onions
- 50g mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 2 tablespoons fromage frais
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. In a bowl, whisk the eggs together until well combined. Season with salt and pepper.
2. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add the diced ham. Cook for 2-3 minutes until slightly browned.
3. Add the diced onions to the skillet and cook for another 2 minutes until softened.
4. Pour the whisked eggs over the ham and onions in the skillet. Allow the eggs to set slightly around the edges.
5. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over one half of the omelette.
6. Once the eggs are mostly set, fold the omelette in half to cover the cheese.
7. Cook for another minute until the cheese is melted and the eggs are fully cooked.
8. Slide the omelette onto a plate and dollop the fromage frais on top.
9. Serve hot and enjoy your delicious ham and cheese omelette!
