- 1 onion
- 1 bell pepper
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 2 tomatoes
- 250g of spaghetti
Instructions:
1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
2. While the water is heating up, finely chop the onion, bell pepper, garlic, and tomatoes.
3. In a large skillet, heat some olive oil over medium heat.
4. Add the chopped onion and bell pepper to the skillet and sauté until softened, about 5 minutes.
5. Add the minced garlic to the skillet and cook for another minute, being careful not to burn it.
6. Stir in the chopped tomatoes and cook for a few more minutes until they start to break down.
7. Cook the spaghetti in the boiling water according to package instructions until al dente.
8. Once the spaghetti is cooked, drain it and add it to the skillet with the vegetables.
9. Toss everything together, adding more olive oil if needed, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
