Ingredients:
- 2 bell peppers, sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Step by Step Guide:
1. In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, cornstarch, sugar, and black pepper. Set aside.
2. Heat vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat.
3. Add minced garlic and sliced onion to the pan. Stir-fry for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
4. Add sliced bell peppers to the pan and continue to stir-fry for another 3-4 minutes until the peppers are slightly softened but still crisp.
5. Pour the sauce mixture over the peppers and stir well to coat everything evenly. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until the sauce thickens.
6. Remove from heat and serve hot as a side dish or over steamed rice.
