- 1 head of cabbage
- 1 pound of ground beef
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup of shredded cheese
Step by Step Guide:
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
2. Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Carefully remove the core from the cabbage head and place the whole head in the boiling water. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until the outer leaves are soft and pliable. Remove the cabbage from the water and let it cool slightly.
3. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, eggs, and half of the shredded cheese. Mix well to combine.
4. Carefully peel off the softened cabbage leaves, making sure not to tear them. Place a spoonful of the ground beef mixture in the center of each cabbage leaf and roll it up, tucking in the sides as you go.
5. Place the stuffed cabbage rolls in a baking dish, seam side down. Sprinkle the remaining shredded cheese on top.
6. Cover the baking dish with foil and bake in the preheated oven for 30-40 minutes, until the beef is cooked through and the cheese is melted.
