- 4 ripe tomatoes
- 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil

- 1 French baguette
Step by Step Guide:
1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
2. Slice the baguette into 1/2 inch thick slices and place them on a baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil and toast in the oven until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
3. Meanwhile, dice the tomatoes and place them in a bowl.
4. Finely chop the basil leaves and mince the garlic cloves. Add them to the bowl with the tomatoes.
5. Drizzle the mixture with olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Mix well to combine.
6. Spoon the tomato mixture onto the toasted baguette slices.
