Chicken and Rice
Ingredients:
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into cubes
- 1 cup uncooked white rice
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
2. Add the chicken cubes and cook until lightly browned, about 5 minutes.
3. Add the diced onion and cook for an additional 3 minutes.
4. Add the uncooked rice and stir to combine.
5. Pour in the chicken broth and season with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
6. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and cover.
7. Simmer for 20 minutes, or until the rice is cooked through and the liquid has been absorbed.
8. Serve warm. Enjoy!
