Make Smoked European Cisco and Rice
Smoked European Cisco and Rice
Ingredients:
- 1 smoked European cisco
- 2 cups of long grain white rice
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 2 cups of water
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
3. Add the chopped onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
4. Add the smoked European cisco and cook for an additional 3 minutes.
5. Add the rice and stir to combine.
6. Add the water and season with salt and pepper.
7. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and cover.
8. Cook for 20 minutes, or until the rice is cooked through.
9. Remove from heat and let sit for 5 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
