Recipe Name: Onion Pakoras

Ingredients:
- 2 large onions, thinly sliced
- 1 cup bengal gram flour (besan)
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- 1 teaspoon chilli powder
- Water, as needed
- Oil, for frying

Instructions:
1. In a mixing bowl, combine the sliced onions, bengal gram flour, turmeric powder, salt, garam masala, and chilli powder.
2. Gradually add water to the mixture and stir until a thick batter consistency is achieved.
3. Heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat.
4. Take small portions of the batter and carefully drop them into the hot oil.
5. Fry the pakoras until they are golden brown and crispy, turning them occasionally for even cooking.
6. Once cooked, remove the pakoras from the oil and place them on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
7. Serve the delicious onion pakoras hot with your favorite chutney or sauce.
