Orange Chicken
Ingredients:
-2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into cubes
-1/4 cup all-purpose flour
-1 teaspoon salt
-1/2 teaspoon black pepper
-2 tablespoons olive oil
-1/2 cup orange juice
-1/4 cup honey
-2 tablespoons soy sauce
-1 teaspoon garlic powder
-1 teaspoon ground ginger
-1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
-1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
Instructions:
1. In a shallow bowl, combine the flour, salt, and pepper.
2. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
3. Dredge the chicken cubes in the flour mixture, shaking off any excess.
4. Add the chicken to the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through.
5. In a small bowl, whisk together the orange juice, honey, soy sauce, garlic powder, ginger, and red pepper flakes.
6. Pour the mixture over the chicken and stir to combine.
7. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce has thickened and the chicken is cooked through.
8. Remove from heat and stir in the parsley.
9. Serve over cooked rice or noodles. Enjoy!
