Oreo Chocolate Ice Cream Cake
Ingredients:
-1 package of Oreo cookies
-1/2 cup of melted semi-sweet chocolate chips
-1/2 gallon of your favorite ice cream
-Whipped cream (optional)
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
2. Line a 9-inch round cake pan with parchment paper.
3. Place Oreos in the bottom of the pan, making sure to cover the entire surface.
4. Melt the chocolate chips in a double boiler or in the microwave.
5. Pour the melted chocolate over the Oreos and spread evenly.
6. Place the pan in the preheated oven and bake for 10 minutes.
7. Remove from the oven and let cool completely.
8. Once cooled, spread the ice cream over the Oreo crust.
9. Place the pan in the freezer for at least 2 hours.
10. Once frozen, remove from the pan and serve with whipped cream, if desired. Enjoy!
