Paneer Curry
Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 large onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
- 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1 large tomato, diced
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 pound paneer, cubed
- 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped
Instructions:
1. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
2. Add the onion and garlic and cook until the onion is softened, about 5 minutes.
3. Add the cumin, coriander, garam masala, turmeric, and red chili powder and cook for 1 minute.
4. Add the tomato and cook for 2 minutes.
5. Add the water, salt, and sugar and bring to a simmer.
6. Add the paneer and simmer for 5 minutes.
7. Remove from the heat and stir in the cilantro.
8. Serve over steamed rice. Enjoy!
