Peanut Butter Banana Molasses Cake

Ingredients:

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup molasses
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 2 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/2 cup chopped peanuts
- 1/2 cup chopped apples

Instructions:

1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9-inch round cake pan.

2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder and salt.

3. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the molasses and eggs until combined.

4. Add the peanut butter and mashed bananas to the butter mixture and mix until combined.

5. Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter mixture and mix until just combined.

6. Gently fold in the chopped peanuts and apples.

7. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

8. Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before turning out onto a wire rack to cool completely.
