Pineapple Apple Yeast Bread
Ingredients:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon active dry yeast
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup pineapple, diced
- 1/2 cup apple, diced
Instructions:
1. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, salt, and yeast.
2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the egg, pineapple, and apple.
3. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms.
4. Knead the dough for 5 minutes.
5. Place the dough in a greased bowl and cover with a damp cloth. Let the dough rise for 1 hour.
6. Punch down the dough and knead for another 5 minutes.
7. Grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan and place the dough in the pan.
8. Cover the pan with a damp cloth and let the dough rise for another hour.
9. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
10. Bake the bread for 30-35 minutes, or until golden brown.
11. Let the bread cool before slicing and serving. Enjoy!
