Pino Recipe:
Ingredients:
- 2 kilos de salmon
- 4 cebollas
- 70 gramos manteca
- 1 .1/2 cucharada sopera de sal
- 100 gramos de comino
- 80 gramos de pimienta
- 6 huevos
- 1 paquete perejil
For the masa:
- 2 kilos de harina
- 100 gramos manteca
- 1 cucharada de sal
- Agua caliente
- Aceite
Step by Step Guide:
1. In a large pot, heat the manteca over medium heat. Add the cebollas and cook until they are soft and translucent.
2. Add the salmon, comino, pimienta, and sal. Cook for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
3. In a separate bowl, beat the huevos and then pour them into the pot with the salmon mixture. Stir well to combine.
4. Add the perejil and cook for another 5 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together.
5. In a separate bowl, combine the harina, manteca, and sal for the masa. Slowly add agua caliente until a dough forms.
6. Roll out the masa on a floured surface and line a baking dish with it.
7. Pour the salmon mixture over the masa and spread it out evenly.
8. Cover the pino with another layer of masa, sealing the edges.
9. Brush the top with aceite and bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for about 45 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown.
10. Serve hot and enjoy your delicious pino!
