Make Pissaladière

Pissaladière

Ingredients:

- 2 tablespoons olive oil

- 1 large onion, thinly sliced

- 2 cloves garlic, minced

- 2 tablespoons fresh thyme leaves

- 1 teaspoon sea salt

- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

- 2 tablespoons tomato paste

- 1/2 cup pitted black olives, chopped

- 2 tablespoons capers

- 1/2 cup anchovy fillets, chopped

- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

- 1 sheet of ready-made puff pastry

Instructions:

1. Preheat oven to 375°F.

2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.

3. Add the thyme, salt, and pepper and cook for another minute.

4. Stir in the tomato paste, olives, capers, and anchovies and cook for another minute.

5. Remove from heat and stir in the Parmesan cheese.

6. Place the puff pastry on a baking sheet and spread the onion mixture over the top.

7. Bake for 20 minutes or until the pastry is golden and crisp.

8. Serve warm. Enjoy!
