Make Pollo a la Broasther
Pollo a la Broasther
Ingredients:
-2 lbs of chicken thighs
-1/2 cup of all-purpose flour
-1 teaspoon of garlic powder
-1 teaspoon of onion powder
-1 teaspoon of paprika
-1 teaspoon of dried oregano
-1 teaspoon of dried thyme
-1 teaspoon of black pepper
-1/2 teaspoon of cayenne pepper
-1/2 teaspoon of salt
-1/4 cup of olive oil
-1/4 cup of butter
-1/4 cup of white wine
-1/4 cup of chicken broth
-1/4 cup of freshly squeezed lemon juice
-2 tablespoons of freshly chopped parsley
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
2. In a shallow bowl, combine the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, oregano, thyme, black pepper, cayenne pepper, and salt.
3. Dip the chicken thighs in the flour mixture, coating them evenly.
4. Heat the olive oil and butter in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
5. Add the chicken thighs to the skillet and cook for 5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.
6. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
7. To the same skillet, add the white wine, chicken broth, and lemon juice.
8. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low.
9. Add the chicken back to the skillet and cover with a lid.
10. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 25 minutes.
11. Remove the skillet from the oven and sprinkle with the freshly chopped parsley.
12. Serve the Pollo a la Broasther hot with your favorite sides. Enjoy!
