Make Pollo con Locote en Salsa de Cebolla y Ajo
Recipe: Pollo con Locote en Salsa de Cebolla y Ajo
Ingredients:
- 1 pollo, cut into pieces
- 2 locotes, diced
- 1 cup harina
- 1/2 cup almidon
- 1 cebolla, chopped
- 3 cloves of ajo, minced
- 1 cup leche
- 1/2 head of repollo, shredded
Instructions:
1. In a bowl, mix the harina and almidon. Dredge the pollo pieces in the mixture until coated evenly.
2. In a large skillet, heat some oil over medium heat. Add the pollo pieces and cook until browned on all sides. Remove from skillet and set aside.
3. In the same skillet, add the cebolla and ajo. Cook until softened and fragrant.
4. Add the locote and cook for a few minutes until slightly softened.
5. Pour in the leche and bring to a simmer. Return the pollo pieces to the skillet.
6. Cover and let simmer for about 20-25 minutes, or until the pollo is cooked through.
7. Serve the pollo with the locote sauce over a bed of shredded repollo.
