Potato, Bacon, and Gruyere Gratin
Ingredients:
-2 large pomme de terre, peeled and thinly sliced
-1/2 cup lardons
-1/2 cup grated Gruyere cheese
-1/2 cup milk
-1/2 cup chicken or vegetable soup
-1 egg, beaten
-Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
2. Grease a 9-inch baking dish with butter.
3. Arrange the potato slices in the baking dish.
4. Sprinkle the lardons and Gruyere cheese over the potatoes.
5. In a medium bowl, whisk together the milk, soup, and egg.
6. Pour the mixture over the potatoes.
7. Season with salt and pepper.
8. Bake in preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until potatoes are tender and cheese is melted and golden.
9. Serve with a side of salad. Enjoy!
