Make Poulet Tomate Riz au Fromage
Recipe Name: Poulet Tomate Riz au Fromage
Ingredients:
- 2 chicken breasts (poulet)
- 1 cup of rice (riz)
- 2 tomatoes, diced
- Pepper (poivre) to taste
- Salt (sel) to taste
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup of grated cheese (fromage)
Instructions:
1. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
2. In a large skillet, heat some oil over medium heat and cook the chicken breasts until they are browned on both sides. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
3. In the same skillet, add the chopped onion and minced garlic. Cook until the onion is translucent.
4. Add the diced tomatoes to the skillet and cook until they start to soften.
5. Stir in the rice and cook for a few minutes.
6. Place the chicken breasts on top of the rice mixture.
7. Pour in enough water to cover the rice and chicken. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for about 20 minutes or until the rice is cooked and the chicken is tender.
8. Sprinkle the grated cheese over the top and let it melt.
