Curry Beef Cavatappi

Ingredients:

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 teaspoon curry powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/4 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1/4 teaspoon ground turmeric
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup coconut milk
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon sugar
- 2 cups cavatappi pasta
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro

Instructions:

1. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, curry powder, garlic powder, ginger, cumin, coriander, turmeric, cardamom, cinnamon, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.

2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic and cook until the onion is softened, about 5 minutes.

3. Add the ground beef mixture to the skillet and cook, stirring occasionally, until the beef is cooked through, about 8 minutes.

4. Add the chicken broth, coconut milk, salt, and sugar to the skillet and stir to combine. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes.

5. Meanwhile, bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the cavatappi and cook according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

6. Once the sauce has simmered for 10 minutes, add the cooked cavatappi and stir to combine. Simmer for an additional 5 minutes.

7. Serve the curry beef cavatappi topped with fresh cilantro. Enjoy!
