Recipe Name: Raclette Burger
Ingredients:
- 4 bun burgers
- 200g fromage raclette, sliced
- 200g lardons de poulet (chicken bacon)
- 4 lettuce leaves
- 500g ground beef
- 4 beef bacon slices
- 4 potato galettes
- 4 tablespoons creme fraiche
- 1 shallot, finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons chopped chives
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Salt and pepper to taste
Step-by-Step Guide:
1. Preheat your grill or barbecue to medium-high heat.
2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, chopped shallot, chopped chives, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all the ingredients are evenly incorporated.
3. Divide the meat mixture into 4 equal portions and shape them into burger patties.
4. Cook the chicken bacon lardons in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Set aside.
5. Grill the burger patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
6. While the burgers are cooking, place the potato galettes on the grill and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side, until they are crispy and golden brown.
7. Once the burgers are cooked, place a slice of fromage raclette on top of each patty and allow it to melt slightly.
8. Toast the bun burgers on the grill for a minute or two until they are lightly toasted.
9. Assemble the burgers by spreading a tablespoon of creme fraiche on the bottom bun. Place a lettuce leaf on top, followed by the raclette-topped burger patty.
10. Top the patty with a slice of beef bacon and a generous portion of crispy chicken bacon lardons.
11. Finally, place a potato galette on top of the bacon and finish with the top bun.
12. Serve the Raclette Burgers immediately while they are still warm and enjoy!
