Recipe Name: Raclette Burger
Ingredients:
- 4 bun burgers
- 200g fromage raclette, sliced
- 200g lardons de poulet (chicken bacon)
- 4 lettuce leaves
- 500g ground beef
- 4 beef bacon slices
- 4 potato galettes (potato pancakes)
- 4 tablespoons creme fraiche
- 1 shallot, finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons chopped chives
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Salt and pepper to taste
Step-by-Step Guide:
1. Preheat your grill or stovetop pan to medium-high heat.
2. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, chopped shallot, chopped chives, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
3. Divide the meat mixture into 4 equal portions and shape them into burger patties.
4. Cook the chicken bacon (lardons de poulet) in a separate pan until crispy. Set aside.
5. Grill the beef bacon slices until crispy. Set aside.
6. Place the potato galettes on the grill or in a hot pan and cook until golden and crispy on both sides. Set aside.
7. Grill the burger patties for about 4-5 minutes per side or until cooked to your desired level of doneness.
8. During the last minute of grilling, top each burger patty with a few slices of fromage raclette and allow it to melt.
9. Assemble the burgers: Spread a tablespoon of creme fraiche on the bottom half of each bun. Place a lettuce leaf on top, followed by a burger patty with melted raclette cheese. Add a slice of beef bacon, some crispy chicken bacon, and a potato galette. Finally, spread another tablespoon of creme fraiche on the top half of each bun.
