Recipe: Rasam Dosa
Ingredients:
- Dosa batter
- Rasam powder
- Tamarind pulp
- Tomatoes, chopped
- Mustard seeds
- Cumin seeds
- Curry leaves
- Red chili powder
- Turmeric powder
- Salt
- Oil
Step by Step Guide:
1. Heat a pan and add oil. Once the oil is hot, add mustard seeds and cumin seeds. Let them splutter.
2. Add curry leaves and chopped tomatoes. Saute until the tomatoes are soft.
3. Add tamarind pulp, rasam powder, red chili powder, turmeric powder, and salt. Mix well and let it simmer for a few minutes.
4. Heat a dosa pan and pour a ladleful of dosa batter. Spread it in a circular motion to make a thin dosa.
5. Drizzle some oil around the dosa and let it cook until the edges start to crisp up.
6. Spoon some of the prepared rasam mixture on top of the dosa and spread it evenly.
7. Cook for another minute until the dosa is crispy and golden brown.
8. Fold the dosa in half or roll it up.
9. Serve hot Rasam Dosa with chutney or sambar.
