Recipe: Beer-Braised Bratwurst with Caramelized Onions

Ingredients:
- 4 Bratwurst sausages
- 1 large onion, thinly sliced
- 1 bottle of beer
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 hot dog buns

Instructions:
1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
2. Add the sliced onions and cook until they are caramelized, about 15-20 minutes. Remove the onions from the skillet and set aside.
3. In the same skillet, add the Bratwurst sausages and brown them on all sides, about 5 minutes.
4. Pour the bottle of beer into the skillet with the sausages. Bring to a simmer and let the sausages cook in the beer for about 15-20 minutes, or until they are cooked through.
5. Once the sausages are cooked, remove them from the skillet and set aside.
6. Increase the heat to high and let the beer reduce until it thickens slightly, about 5 minutes.
7. To serve, place each Bratwurst sausage in a hot dog bun, top with caramelized onions, and drizzle with the beer reduction.
