- 1 lb chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 cup rice
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 onion, diced
- Spices (such as salt, pepper, paprika, cumin)

1. In a large skillet, heat some oil over medium heat.
2. Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook until the onion is translucent and the garlic is fragrant.
3. Add the chicken pieces to the skillet and cook until they are browned on all sides.
4. Season the chicken with your choice of spices, such as salt, pepper, paprika, and cumin.
5. Add the rice to the skillet and stir to combine with the chicken and onion mixture.
6. Pour in enough water or chicken broth to cover the rice and chicken.
7. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for about 20 minutes or until the rice is cooked and the chicken is tender.
8. Fluff the rice with a fork before serving.
