Ingredients:
- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 cup walnuts
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Green onions for garnish
Step by Step Guide:
1. In a small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic to make the sauce. Set aside.
2. In a separate bowl, toss the shrimp with cornstarch until evenly coated.
3. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
4. Add the coated shrimp to the skillet and cook until golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per side.
5. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
6. In the same skillet, toast the walnuts until fragrant, about 2-3 minutes.
7. Return the cooked shrimp to the skillet and pour the sauce over the shrimp.
8. Stir to coat the shrimp evenly in the sauce and cook for another minute.
9. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
10. Serve the honey walnut shrimp garnished with chopped green onions.
