Recipe: Sausages with Rice
Ingredients:
- 4 sausages
- 1 cup of rice
- 2 cups of chicken broth
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 bell pepper, diced
- 1 teaspoon of paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil
Instructions:
1. In a large skillet, heat some olive oil over medium heat.
2. Add the diced onion and minced garlic, and sauté until fragrant.
3. Add the diced bell pepper and cook until softened.
4. Push the vegetables to the side of the skillet and add the sausages. Cook until browned on all sides.
5. Add the rice to the skillet and stir to combine with the vegetables and sausages.
6. Sprinkle the paprika, salt, and pepper over the mixture.
7. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a boil.
8. Reduce the heat to low, cover the skillet, and let it simmer for about 20 minutes or until the rice is cooked and the liquid is absorbed.
9. Fluff the rice with a fork and serve the sausages with rice hot.
